Library
The school library is designed to meet the specific needs of the reader population . The library has books on various subjects viz. : Fiction. Psychology , Philosophy , social studies , economics , geography , travel ,history , science , mathematics , astronomy , sports , English , hindi and the books which make interesting reading for the junior students. Regular self study of library books is a must. Library is open to all the students of the school during school hours . Students are free to select the books they wish to draw from the Library.
The school subscribes to various Indian magazines / journals in addition to the important daily newspapers. Books damaged or disfigured have to be paid for or replaced by the borrower.
School canteen
The school has a canteen for students and visitors , Canteen serves eats , snacks , milk , tea , ice cream , fruits , soft drinks etc. on cash payment at fixed rates . The school medical officers and nurse inspect the canteen off and on and examine all eats , raw and cooked for their suitability from hygienic and nutrition point of view.
Transport
Bus service is provided almost to all students coming from panipat city and surrounding area . Parents will be allowed to make their own arrangement for transport for their children those who come from nearby places. Bicycles may be used which will be kept centrally locked during school hours.
Medical
A periodical medical check-up is carried out of all the students by qualified doctor and physical progress record is maintained. The school has a dispensary and a resident nurse to look after children’s health in general and to provide round the clock medical cover to the boarders. If the medical officers has to be called from his residence to examine any boarder after school hours, his professional charges will have to be paid by the parents through miscellaneous fund.
Serious cases requiring hospitalization will be admitted into the Govt. Hospital or a Nursing Home unless standing instructions to the contrary are given by the parents to the school in writing. Parents will be informed if the doctors find that a child needs special medical attention. All hospital charges and amount spent on medicines will be put on bills. The school , however is not responsible in case of any mishappening. |
